Social Skills
Group Therapy
Our program is designed to help individuals with autism improve their social skills and communication abilities through group therapy sessions led by trained therapists.
Weekly Peer Group Therapy
Group therapy sessions include role-playing activities, conversation starters, social skills games, and visual aids. Throughout the session, our therapists provide feedback and guidance to learners as they practice and apply the social skills they are learning.
Group Matching
After the assessment, we match each learner to a peer group based on their strengths, challenges, interests, age and availability.
Strengths
Strength-based matching leverages the unique abilities of individuals with autism, allowing them to learn and grow together while fostering mutual support and encouragement.
Challenges
Taking individual challenges into account ensures that each person is matched with others who have complementary needs and goals.
Interests
Having common interests promotes engaging and enjoyable experiences. When individuals share interests, they are more likely to form meaningful connections with one another.
Age
Age is an important factor in group therapy. Age-appropriate groups can be more developmentally suitable and relevant for each individual.
